Company description

Integry enables SaaS companies to build native integrations as a natural extension of their app. Customers can easily create integrations that match their own app's user experience with hundreds of apps. End-users of those companies can effortlessly, without code, customize those integrations, build new ones, and share them.

Why solve this problem?

Business software can no longer live in isolation. If your app can't import existing customer data or be part of their workflow, it's DOA. Enabling the next generation of entrepreneurs and ISV to develop connected apps is an important mission that we're excited to undertake.

Hardest thing about being a founder?

Avoiding deaths by a thousand papercuts. There's always a fire and there's always something to do. If you're not careful, you'll end up being busy all day without much to show for it.

Biggest piece of advice for aspiring founders?

Be hyperrational. When you're a founder, the startup is your baby. It's easy to get tangled up in emotions over critical decisions and suffer Solomon's Paradox. Develop self-distancing and talk to great mentors who do not have the same emotional stakes as you do in your problems.

Most surprising or exciting moment so far?

I love giving demos. Customers get blown away when they see results with Integry. When they see integrations with their UI and UX inside their app, they understand there can be no other way.

Why did you choose Bonfire?

We talked to more than twenty investors. Ultimately, the depth of understanding demonstrated by Bonfire of our space was unparalleled. They immediately understood integrations with great experience as a critical problem. Once we closed with them, the team at Bonfire spent hours helping us through strategy, pricing, positioning, messaging. It's unreal to see that kind of commitment from today's drive-by rounds. We've been very fortunate to partner with Bonfire in this regard.

What’s it like to work with bonfire?

Bonfire is a great partner and sounding board. Whether its positioning, pricing or hiring. I've had a number of meetings where I go in thinking I have the right solution in mind but after talking it out with Bonfire I might come out with a completely different angle because of something I have missed.

Favorite book, useful tool or app?

Big fan of superhuman’s mail client and Coda’s document system

My favorite book is We Have No Idea: A Guide to the Unknown Universe by Jorge Cham
