Why solve this problem?
The beauty industry is a massive industry that is growing rapidly. People are devoting more time, attention and share of wallet to businesses and services that make them look and feel good, but we saw how the software that enables these experiences is old, outdated, and not keeping up with demand.
Hardest thing about being a founder?
Focus. It can be really challenging to balance building an amazing product, starting to commercialize it, thinking about the roadmap, and the myriad of other potential initiatives. It’s important to surround yourself with a team and partners that can help you maintain focus and sanity, especially at the challenging and scary early stages of the business.
Biggest piece of advice for aspiring founders?
Don’t be afraid to be transparent with yourself and others and ask for help and resources when you need them. Company building isn’t an individual sport.
